Once I was trying to finish a drawing by the East River, [better say, racing against the end of the last drop of day light]. Out of the blue someone rushed in the direction of my light wooden easel, jumped out of his bike, holding high in the air a camera and asking: ‘can I take one picture?’ . Not hard to figure out that he did not fit into the category of a passing by nut looking for a snap shot but rather a true professional photographer, more so, someone who was functionning on is approch as an artist. This is how I met Mike Kobal! Mike will find is way on the most tight space, taking chances on the most inconfortable and challenging position as long as he can set his camera and get the shot he wants. Intensely absorbe and focus on his settings .

Thank you Mike and Darima for dropping by… next time we will have Russian tea from Paris!
